Multi-purpose, LDPE membrane for damp-proofing and for screed separation.
Mapefoil DPM 250 is used for damp-proofing in on-grade and below-grade construction and as a separation membrane for screeding.
Some application examples
▪As a separation layer for unbonded and oating screeds.
▪As a protection and separation membrane for insulation boards and foams.
▪Laid on lean concrete as a damp-proof membrane to receive base slabs and below-grade structures.
▪As part of the build-up for below-grade waterproofing systems; e.g.. Plastimul 2K Reactive, as a damp-proofing layer
APPLICATION PROCEDURE
▪For damp-proofing applications, use Mapefoil DPM 250 and over-lap all edges by 50 mm, making sure the laps are sealed tight with a high strength industrial grade double-sided tape.
▪For screed/concrete separation on insulation/protection waterproofing, use Mapefoil DPM 250 and secure all over-laps with tapes & seal with Ade silex PG2 TG on upturn treatment, to prevent displacement during topping screed/concrete
